Your camera roll is worth money.

AI companies need real video, photos and sound to train their models. Pollen gives you a shot list, you shoot it on your phone, and you get paid for every approved task — only with your OK.

Your camera roll

Every shot could earn.

Drag the line. Skies, streets, the drive home, your setup — the everyday stuff already on your phone is exactly what you can sell on Pollen.

How it works

Four steps. Zero guesswork.

  1. 01

    Get a shot list

The app tells you what AI companies need right now — like a rainy street at night or 30 seconds of a busy café. Pick the ones you can get.

  2. 02

    Shoot it for real

Snap or record it on your phone. Real photos and real sound only — nothing AI-generated, no lazy shots of a blank wall.

  3. 03

    We check & match it

Every upload gets a quick quality check, then goes into datasets for the AI companies that asked for exactly that.

  4. 04

    You get paid

When a dataset with your stuff in it gets licensed, you get your cut. Every payout shows exactly where it came from.

What you can sell

Stuff you already have.

Video

Short clips of real life — your hands at work, a walk through a room, cooking POV. Pays the most.

Photos

Pets, food, skies, streets, your fit check — the stuff already sitting in your camera roll.

Voice clips

Read short prompts in your own voice. Never sold unless you explicitly opt in.

Ambient audio

Rain, traffic, cafés, crowds, the hum of your room — the background noise of your day.

Everyday scenes

Kitchens, desks, commutes, store aisles. Real life, not stock-photo life.

The rules

Real shots only.

AI companies come to Pollen for the real world, so that's all we sell. Every upload gets checked before it goes anywhere.

We pay for

  • Photos and sound you captured yourself
  • Shots from your shot list
  • In focus, well lit, clearly the subject
  • Real places, real moments, real noise

We don't

  • Anything AI-generated or AI-edited
  • Screenshots, reposts or other people's stuff
  • Filler — blank walls, ceilings, the floor
  • Blurry, dark or near-duplicate shots
You're in control

Your stuff.
Your call.

Nothing gets sold without a yes from you. Every upload comes with its own consent screen, and you can change your mind whenever.

  • You choose what gets sold

Uploading isn't selling. You mark exactly which files are up for license.

  • Clear consent on every upload

Plain-English terms, every time. No buried checkboxes.

  • No faces or voices without opt-in

Anything that could identify you stays off the table unless you explicitly say yes.

  • Delete anytime

Pull a file or your whole account whenever you want.

  • Transparent payouts

See which files sold, what the license paid, and what landed in your account.

What you earn

Real pay. Per task.

Every task on your shot list shows what it pays before you start. Longer, harder-to-get footage pays more — video pays the most.

What a shot-list task pays
  • 10–15 sec of head turns, expression changes or lighting variationsFace · opt-in
    $0.75 – $1.25
  • 30–60 sec holding objects, unboxing or hand gestures
    $1.75 – $2.50

    $3.00 – $5.00
  • 3–5 min POV activity — cooking, fixing a bike, using tools
    $8.00 – $12.00

Estimated payout per approved task. Final rates are set at launch and can change with demand. Earnings aren't guaranteed.

FAQ

Fair questions.

AI companies and research labs that need real-world video, photos and audio to train and test their models. We'll name launch partners as deals are signed: [PARTNER NAMES].

Whatever's on your shot list. The app shows what AI companies are asking for right now — specific videos, scenes, objects and sounds — so you're not guessing. Everything has to be real and shot by you: no AI-generated images and no filler like blank walls.

Each task shows its pay up front. Right now that's roughly $0.35–$0.50 for a 30–60 sec voice clip, up to $8–$12 for a 3–5 min POV video — video pays the most. Rates are estimates until launch and can change with demand, and nothing is guaranteed.

You decide what's for sale, file by file. Faces and voices are never sold without your explicit opt-in, and you can delete files or your account anytime.

No date yet — we're building it now. Waitlist members get in first, and we'll email you the moment it's your turn. The higher you are on the list, the sooner you're in.
